Tools Catalog 2005

At 294 pages and totally redesigned from 2-colors to full color, the Tools Catalog was a year-long project. My involvement was designing the overall look and style templates, writing copy, setting up chapters and layouts, indexing, and two-thirds of the production. The product manager decided which items belonged on which pages, and I took it from there. While most of the photography came from our vendors, many of those images needed editing. I hired a photographer to take around 500 images plus the cover photos, which we accomplished in a four-day shoot.
