UMB Report System Design and Production

I coordinated the design and manufacturing of a new system of proposal covers and tabs consolidating all five departments of the division under the same system. A customizable, full-color "undercover" for each department is overlaid by a translucent vinyl cover with a black and navy marbled "UMB" on it and paired with a navy vinyl back. The stair-stepped tabs which I concepted and matching bordered paper also have a strip of the marbled design. Not only does this better-looking system provide improved branding and flexibility for the division, it also costs $1-$2.50 less per booklet than the previous several systems. Savings were at least $25,000 the first year on an estimated 17,000 proposals and reports. The system proved to be so attractive and flexible, that other company departments are adopting parts of the system for their own use.
